Sharbari Barai is the most well-known young veterinary doctor in Dhaka city. This young enthusiastic Vet was born in Madaripur district. She earned her veterinary degree from Patuakhali Science and Technology University in 2016.
From her birth, Sharbari was raised in several area in Bangladesh. She is the eldest among her other younger three sisters. Even after completing her Honors on Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Sharbari did not have the plan to start any veterinary clinic. Thus, as one of the most Education enthusiastic daughters of her father, a retired Assistant General Manager of Grameen Bank, Sharbari completed her Ms in Pharmacology in 2017.
Then she started her first job in a pharmaceutical company. But, as an entrepreneur soul, continuing a job was not what she always wanted. There was something exceptional that made her think differently. She was in an eager thirst to make it better.
“In the period of the CoronaVirus Pandemic, loneliness has increased a lot. I noticed many people started raising pet animals with their in-depth love for pets. It seems as if pets are the soul of these people. And from the interest of being able to serve that emotional place, I quit my job and started the clinic,” Sharbari Barai replied when we asked her what made her take a step forward for the furry animals with her pet clinic.
Having a rigorous veterinary degree from Patuakhali, Vet Sharbari Barai was armed with knowledge and expertise and was always ready to embark on a journey that would bridge the gap between humanity and the animal kingdom. With her registered number -4921, she was the certified guardian of animal health, equipped to make a real impact.

Though we live in the most revolutionary era, it is rare to see enthusiastic young women stars in our society develop an entrepreneurship idea. But, Sharbari made it happen, crafting her footprint with a unique revolutionary idea.
She founded her very first pet hospital on House # 496, Road # 9, Baridhara DOHS, named Dr.Sharbari’s PetCare at a very young age. She has proudly served more than 3000 pets in her clinic since March 2021. She is connected with an enormous number of 27 thousand pet lovers through her clinic’s Facebook Page.
As a Compassionate and empathetic person towards animals, she thought she would not only make her pet clinic just a pet hospital but something more than that. Therefore, she focused on turning the idiom ‘Prevention is better than cure’ into a real-life example.
By having excellent communication skills to understand pet owners’ concerns, she thought she would also provide consultant service to the owners as well as provide medicinal services.
Though it was risky to come up with a unique idea, having updated knowledge of veterinary medicine and advancements in the field, Sharbari Barai easily turned it into a successful Notion. Besides, providing consultation service to the pet owners helped them to understand the underlying reason for their pet’s sickness. Therefore, it became easier for them to care for their lovely animals more passionately.
Not to mention that it was really a praising step for a veterinary doctor to focus on the wellness of animals instead of just treating their sickness.
Sharbari Barai also utilized her Facebook page in a more engaging manner. She shares expert ideas and insightful information for pet lovers so that it becomes easier for them to keep their lovely animals sound and well.
While her journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, she remains grounded and humble, ever-focused on the path ahead. With dreams of expanding her reach and establishing mobile clinics to reach underserved communities, Sharbari Barai continues to redefine what it means to be a veterinarian.
